Project Amazone restores degraded land in the Amazon region using regenerative agriculture and native trees. By combining agroforestry with sustainable production of cacao, coffee, açai, and plantain, we strengthen biodiversity, capture CO₂, and create new income streams for local farmers.
Each bond represents 33 m² of restored land and delivers immediate ecological and social impact. This builds a nature-inclusive business model where agriculture and nature thrive together. Learn more in our information brochure.

Frequently asked questions
Why is agroforestry sustainable?
Agroforestry is sustainable because it combines agricultural practices with the cultivation of trees and other plants, creating a more diverse and resilient ecosystem. This system also reduces the need for synthetic inputs, improves soil health, sequesters carbon, and offers farmers numerous benefits, including higher yields and income diversification.
Who buys the harvest proceeds?
Most of the fruit is sold at local (wholesale) markets. We sell as much as possible locally, both to the local population and to minimise transport. Courageous Land already has a buyer for coffee: Amazônia Agroflorestal is willing to pay premium prices for climate-positive beans. There is also growing demand for cocoa, a wonderful indigenous variety. In addition, discussions are underway with Cargill, a US-based multinational company in the food and agriculture sectors. It is one of the largest private companies in the world, supplying food and agricultural products to customers in more than 70 countries.
Who is your local partner?
Courageous Land is a Brazilian agroforestry company that designs, plants and manages biodiverse and agriculturally productive reforestation projects on deforested land. The company won the World Economic Forum’s Amazon Bio-economy Challenge 2022 for its pioneering work in creating agroforests that capture CO2 while producing organic and regenerative crops.
