THE CHACO

Paraguayan ‘Chaco’ is the world’s largest forest area after the Amazon. 🌍

In the Chaco, legal forest can be cut down, if a number of laws are complied with. As a result, the nature reserve changes from forest 👍 (bottom left of the image), to bare decommissioned plots 👎 (the yellowish rectangles at the top right).

Corekees’ trees are planted on the deforested plots of land, thereby contributing to the reforestation of the area.
